Rock Star Hair
- A new 4-star hotel just opened in Dandong and they wanted to make some publicity photos with a foreigner in them. So, sight unseen, I was asked to be a model. I decided to show up with long hair (left over from a karaoke party) to enjoy the manager's reaction when he met me. To his credit, he didn't bat an eyelash, but his stony face broke into a huge smile of relief when I removed the wig with a flourish.
