Alternate Route
- Closed frequently by landslides and typhoons, I've learned that it's worth looking here to check a road's current status. They can remain closed for from half an hour to years and you might face an long backtrack (as I have...twice). This route stayed closed until bridges were built to circumvent a, um, major problem.
